v3.0 [Oct 3, 2014]
New features:
- New default materials have been added to reflect the IES-LM-83 default recommendations for unknown reflectances.
- LEEDv4 Option 2 daylighting compliance has a customized load-in display mode, but is not available from the Metrics menu as an automated simulation workflow at this time.
- Intermediate point-in-time sky models from the CIE have been added.
- Daylight factor values can now be displayed as decimal points.
- Updated Radiance to the latest 4.2.2 version.
- Added support for loading in LEEDv4 Option 2 daylighting compliance, but the simulations are not automated.
Bug fixes:
- Exterior conditions in DIVA-Thermal calculations corrected (sometimes floors would have outside air rather than group as their exterior condition).
- All units for DIVA-Thermal simulations are kept in SI units.
- Issues sometimes causing very low cooling results on thermal graphs have been fixed.
- The LEED2009 Addendum 8.1 credit is now named unambiguously in the interface.
- The dt (direct threshold) value for climate-based Daysim simulations is now set to 0.
- If Nodes are deleted in Rhino via the delete key and new nodes are created using fewer surfaces, an error no longer occurs running grid-based Metrics.
- A check is added to ensure that weather files are stored in C:\DIVA\WeatherData\.
Deploys changes to one or more to databases and creates database structures.
